Northumberland is my home county and one of the best counties for the fine art landscape photographer. Allenheads, my home village is situated at the south of Northumberland and is a popular stopping off place for c2c cyclists.

I spent best part of the early morning stalking these oyster catchers. I was fortunate to catch them "on parade." This photograph was taken on the Northumberland coast early one September morning.
